When I got my ipod nano for Christmas this past year, I was fooling around with it and I stumbled across something called a podcast and it's folder (which was empty since I didn't have any podcasts yet). My first question is this: What exactly are podcasts?

Recently, I just went online my favourite radio station, and they just started posting up podcasts. These podcasts are from their early morning talk shows which I really enjoy, but I'm not usually up that early to listen to them. My next question is this: How can I take these podcasts from the website and put them on my ipod? This is the site in case you want to give me step by step directions: http://www.edge.ca/DJsandShows/Podcasts.aspx

Lastly, what other podcasts are available?

Anything is much appreciated, thanks :D

  1. A podcast is an online audio blog or broadcast file which is downloaded on an iPod or other MP3 Players for mobile listening.

Podcasts can be downloaded via iTunes. After opening iTunes, select iTunes Store from the left hand menu. In the top right hand corner of iTunes, there is a search field - type in "The Dean Blundell Show Podcast". After iTunes has found the podcast, click Subscribe. The podcast will be added to your iTunes library and will automatically be updated when a new podcast is released.

To find other podcasts, again open the iTunes store and there will be a column on the left of the store screen that is titled iTunes STORE. Under this, click Podcasts. On the next page, there is a column titled CATERGORIES and this is where you can browse all podcasts.
