Layered hair is a hair style that gives the illusion of length and volume using long hair for the illusion of length and short hair for volume, this way it is easy to style and manage. Hair is arranged into layers, with the top layers (those that grow nearer the crown) cut shorter than the layers beneath. its when they cut your hair in diffrent lenghts. like the bottom have is long then the next half is shorter and so forth.
