Question:

What exactly are the AltonTowers Fast Track Passes?

I'm going on Tuesday and having been before I know the queues can be h**l. I'm going with the school though and so don't have as much time as I would usually. I've noticed the Fast Track passes but not exactly sure what rides they will enable me to go on.

I know they can only be used once for each ride and I think they cost something like £8.

Is there more than one type, what rides can I use them for, is it worth it, considering it's a weekday and most schools haven't broken up yet?

  1. the fast-tracks that you will be paying for allow you to get on the ride without having to queue, but only once for each of the rides that the ticket says.

I don't think they are worth it because Alton Towers tickets have shot up by about £15 over the last few years.

I wouldn't of thought it would be overly busy on the 15th with schools not been broken up.

On busy days they open up the the free fast tracks on the big rides and you take a free ticket and it gives you a time to queue for the ride, then you queue between that time, which skips part of the queue.

If the free fast tracks are not open, then you can feel safe that it isn't an busy day

  2. i think you should because my school is going on tuesday the 15th aswel plus other schools,

anyway the £8 fastracks allow you to get on air, nemesis, oblivion and the flume without any queing!

there is another one for £4 and allows you to go on rita without any queing

and there is another for £30 which allows you on any ride without queing

im deffo getting the £8 one

also on the alton towers website it says the 14-17 july will be very busy so i think you should get one

    hope this helps xxxx
