  1. A committee can consist of many members but the three you have mentioned are the core group and a compulsory part of any committee. Besides President/ Chairperson, Secretary and the Treasurer, other members can be 1 or 2 Joint Secretaries, a few Associate Secretaries (to assist Secretary in different fields - explanation later), Technical Director, Training Director and Associate Members (the Presidents/ Secretaries of assciate clubs etc).

Coming over to the Roles, these can be numerous, som eone them however are: -

President - Basically responsible for policy making (in consultation with executive members), Preside over the meetings etc and approve/ disapprove certain decisions for better governance of the club/ organization, judicial expenditure of the money, ensuring implementation of rules of the games etc (by appointing panel of judges and umpires during the competitions), training of the team etc.

Secretary - Acts as the Headquarters of the committee and is the most important person as he is the one to ensure all decisions approved by the President/ Chairperson are being implemented by all concerned. He can be assisted by Join Secretaries/ Associate Secretaries in different fields like an Associate Secretary for Discipline, another for Media and Publicity, one for ceremonies and protocol etc. Secretary is also responsible for correspondence with other clubs/ fellow associate teams etc. He signs all the letters and all letters addressed to committee are put up to him to make decisions under the light of instructions given by the Chairperson. If there is a matter not decided earlier, he will put up that to the Chairperson and convey the decision on that issue to all concerned. His jobs are countless and he is the pivot in the committee. He is responsible for holding all conferences, meetings, visits and preparing match/ practice schedules etc in consultation with Directors of Training and Technical.

Treasurer - He is the book keeper of accounts and is responsible to keep aal the accounts and ledgers maintained and updated. Mostly the Presidents empower them to sign the cheques also but every transaction has to be approved by the President/ Secretary, entered in the account books and then executed. He is also responsible for conduction internal and external audits.

All the appointments and duties are governed by the Memorandum/ Resolution approved by the General Council and Executive Members of the committee.
