  1. Vegans eat anything that is plant-derived.  

    This includes fruits, vegetables, legumes, nuts, seeds, edible flowers, fungi, sea vegetables, vegetable oils, and grains.  Some vegans eat meat and/or dairy substitutes like veggie burgers and soy or rice milk.

    Raw vegans only eat plant foods that are not cooked over a temperature of about 115 deg. F to retain vitamins and minerals.  


  2. Everything they eat is purely plants or products made exclusively from plants.  

  3. Nothing that comes from an animal- nothing!

    No meat, cheese, eggs, milk etc..
