What exactly do i need to download psp games off the web?

I hear all these thing about downgrading and firmware, Can someone please tell me what exactly my psp has to have in order to be compatible with downloads?

Answering your question literally, you only need your computer and enough space to download PSP games. Playing them on the PSP, however, is a totally different question.

If you're talking about demos, however, you just need your PSP to be able to connect to the internet and enough space on your PSP. You just go to the Playstation home site and look through their PSP section for demos.
