What exactly do you do during a science lab in college?

I'm taking a 2 hour Biology lab this upcoming semester. What do you do during lab?

My biology labs in college varied from watching termites follow ink lines on a piece of paper...to doing role-play mock-ups to demonstrate how animals' social groups change and shift over time...to dissecting sheep eyes and pig uteruses.  It all depends on the professor in charge!

I took a course like that a year and a half ago. It was actually really easy, but it was a basic biology course that was required for non science majors, I dont know how complex your course is supposed to be. I think we did stuff that involved yeast and reactions it caused with other chemicals... recorded levels of liquid in tubes... made out charts, developed thesis's for experiments, etc.
