  1. That depends on how long you hold it.

Your body will recover the moisture and leave the poisons your kidneys filtered out.  This effectively distills your urine.  This can result in an increase of mineral buildups, and lead to kidney stones, a situation you will always remember for the pain and always regret for your difficulty in getting health insurance.  Health insurers do not like kidney stones!  These distilled toxins can also lead to other acute health problems.

The real danger lies in the why of holding it.  If you are pee shy, and simply can not pee in public toilets or at a friends house, you could have real trouble ahead.  Kidney stones are a problem, but it is also possible to hold your pee long enough, when the intake of fluids is fast enough, to lead to a ruptured bladder.  The pain would be so high for me that I would wet my pants, but some people actually do this.  A ruptured bladder leads to death from septicemia.  Your own urine poisons you.  Not to mention the internal bleeding.

    Why do you ask?

  2. Can cause urinary infections or problems with your kidneys by causing urine to back up into your system. My advise if you gotta go then go. Why hold it.

  3. It can cause mental disorders.
