Many PC rollout techs do exactly that - backup the customers data, they setup the computer,  install apps, connect computer to the customers network drives, transfer data back to the computer, etc.

Some Rollout teams have the Rollout tech only do the above; if there is a problem with the setup or computer, another team is sent to trouble shoot and correct the problems.

Other Rollout teams do all the above.
