you could be talking about the Stephen King "it" the book/movie. in that case, we would be talking about something that would be your biggest fear, if your afraid of clowns, it's a clown. (that comes out of the drains)

or, IT is a pronoun. originated with all the other pronouns.

or the ebay commercials "it" in which "it" is anything u want it to be.
