  1. ADHD is an abbreviation of Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder. It is a neurological disorder in which the attention is not sustained even for a few seconds at a stretch. Like children will have problems focussing on and completing their tasks.

They will often do ill considered actions like crossing the road without looking for the traffic.

They are on the go every time and never seem to run out of energy.

Nothing seems to hold their interest for long.

Generic and environmental factors are said to be responsible for this.

  2. AD/HD is actually three disorders (or subtypes) - hyperactive-impulsive type (classic ADHD), inattentive type (where you're usually hypoactive) and combined (which is the most common one).

"They are on the go every time and never seem to run out of energy."

-- This is incorrect considering that sufferers with inattentive type ADHD are not hyperactive and many are actually underactive instead.

  3. Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder you have trouble concentrating and very hyper,I have a grandson who has it.
