I am 21, married (husband is 23), I have no children yet, I am of good health and have a family history of diabetes and back and knee problems.

My employer is having an AFLAC meeting on March 14th and I am wondering if this can benefit me. Any comments will be appriciated!

  1. Aflac is very beneficial in case of sickness or if you are in an accident.  It pays cash benefits to cover your expenses when you can't work.  The following is a list of their insurance policies:

    Accident

    Cancer/Specified Disease

    Hospital Intensive Care

    Dental

    Vision

    Hospital Confinement Indemnity

    Hospital Confinement Sickness Indemnity

    Hospital Confinement Care Indemnity

    Life

    Long-Term Care

    Short-Term Disability

Unreimbursed medical and dependent day care flexible spending accounts

  2. Yes it would benefit you.  I have a couple different policies from AFLAC and have already benefited from them.

The best policy is the disability which would pay you if you can not work due to an illness or accident.

  3. In your case it is good. Get the cancer, hospital indeminty plan. The hospital ideminty plan will help out when you have kids.  Don't get the life insurance. You should get that from a good life insurance company. If you have any other question. Email me at charles.mackel@wslife.com
