What exactly is Canadian Football and what is the difference between Can. Football and American Footbal?

Football is Football there are a few differences

but basically you run with the ball you takle they guy with the ball....

you throw the ball you catch the ball.......

and once in awhile you get into the endzone and act like it is your first time getting there...........

ok simply put the rules are slightly different in canada we have 3 downs and the usa has 4 downs, the canadian yard is slightly longer than the american yard, you have to give 1 yard at the line of scrimmage and on any or kickoff or punt the returning play must be given 5 yard to attempt to make a play (unlike that god awful please don`t hit me rule in the nfl), the cfl field is 110 yards long and the endzone is 20 yards long the nfl is 100 yard and the endzone is 10 yards, a touchback is a single point. much better game . more exciting. ricky williams isnt that great. Canadian Football is what it is. The differnce is the size of the field, as the Canadian Field is wider and longer and the game has three downs not four as in the US. Therefore there is more reliance on the passing game.

You have less men on a larger field, with only three downs. this allows for smaller quicker men to supply more exciting offence, and higher scoring games on average than American football. Due to the larger American population and nationalistic attitudes with the large TV networks promotions American football is a far bigger fan game. But don't forget where players like Warren Moon cane from.
