I've been thinking about moving to Argentina when I graduate high school, but I want to keep my citizenship in my home country. Is it possible to have a double nationality? Oh and what is the definition of it?

  1. I think you are be talking about dual citizenship...which is just exactly what it sounds like.  You might be born somewhere and be a citizen of that country, but if you move to another country you can apply for citizenship there as well and hold dual citizenship.

  2. Yes, like the person above mentioned dual citizenship is like having two passports from two different countries. But if you are American by birth you might not be able to have dual citizenship unless one of your parents is from Argentina. Some countries do not allow having dual citizenship, and you have to give up your nationality in order to get the second nationality. Good luck.

  3. Its 'Dual Nationality' You can only have that if your parents were born in one Country say Argentina and you were born in the US....you could officially hold both passports.

  4. I agree with the previous  answer.
