You can do a search engine on it and find the answer.  She is clean in a State with a lot of corruption and the corrupt are trying hard to get her.   The Democrats may enable that very thing too.

The allegation is that she tried pressure police into firing her brother-in-law. The person who has alleged this, recently lost their job, and is saying that he lost his job because he refused to fire the brother-in-law.

I would take the whole thing with a grain of salt. Sounds pretty unlikely to me first of all. From what I have learned about Palin she is anything but petty. She is very straight forward and believes strongly in doing the "right" thing.

Another thing to keep in mind, because she is such a maverick and has spent most of her public career bucking the system and taking out corrupt politicians while blocking pork barrel spending, she has made a lot of enemies in Alaska. Politics can be pretty dirty. It would not surprise me to know that the whole allegation is just a ploy to draw negative attention to her. Likely the whole thing will be dropped, but not before a few ignorant people believe it enough to slant their opinion of her unduly.

Well, according to first news reports by CNN in Dayton Ohio, was if this working mother of FIVE children be Vice President and care for her newly born Down Syndrome Baby!!!

Amazingly, in Ohio from the fire houses, to the grocery, to the university, and farms, people are talking about the ABSOLUTE bias sexist News people from the National Media heads!

They are the ones needing investigations...

Gov Palin encouraged the investigation to clear her name of false allegation.

Maybe the Head of CNN should do their own investigation.  It is on record and tape.

That state trooper was her former brother-in-law who had gone through “a messy divorce” with her sister. After the trooper’s boss wouldn’t act on the governor’s request, she fired him. Though Palin says she doesn’t “have anything to hide” and she “didn’t do anything wrong there,” an investigation has found that one of her aides pushed the firing:

Gov. Sarah Palin on Wednesday revealed an audio recording that shows an aide pressuring the Public Safety Department to fire a state trooper embroiled in a custody battle with her sister.

Palin, who has previously said her administration didn’t exert pressure to get rid of trooper Mike Wooten, also disclosed that members of her staff had made about two dozen contacts with public safety officials about the trooper.
