I've been reading questions on here regarding them. How big do they get ? Are they sorta like a Potbelly Pig ? Where do you get them from ?

  1. Probably achieved the same way as "teacup yorkshire terriers" etc.

They don't exist, they are simply stunted, malnourished, misbred, inbred or runt versions of their bigger counterparts.

    Just don't buy one!

  2. Tea cup pig?

This sounds so cool!  Can you imagine getting 90 or so of those things for a big party and everyone can eat their own! NEAT!

  3. According to one site I found when searching for you:

As for the so-called Teacup or Micro Mini pig's, these are just normal potbellied pig's that have been chronically underfed and malnourished in an attempt to keep them small. Their life span is maybe FIVE YEARS. This is because the pig stays tiny, BUT THE ORGANS continue to GROW NORMAL SIZE for a normal size pig. Teacups, Micro-Mini's, European Bluebutts, these are all fancy names made up by breeders. All potbellied pigs within the United States come from the same line.

The only reason we have very small, tiny PBP's is because of unscrupulous breeders inbreeding the pigs, or telling people not to feed them much in order to keep them small. That is animal abuse. Please do not fall for this.

(That is the first link in the sources below.)

    ALSO:

Personally, I have yet to see a micro-mini or tea cup pig. The claim that a full-grown pig is only six inches tall is inconceivable to me. You must remember that I’m from Missouri, the Show Me State; and, to date I have not seen a pig this size. The unusually small pigs I have seen appeared unhealthy and stunted, lacking good bone structure, proper conformation, and good general body condition.

(This is from the second link.)

  4. a poorly bred pig just like "teacup" Chihuahua's, Yorkies and Poodles

  5. a tea cup pig is a stunted pot bellied pig

    here is a good link

NEVER NEVER buy one sold as a "teacup" its sick.. their insides keep growing but their outsides stop because of poor genetics and poor feeding when  young..

their lifespans are considerably shorter and medical costs high!

anyone who breeds and sells these is unethical
