A blog is an online journal of your thoughts. People write them for various reasons, but Yahoo! 360 is designed as a social networking service for friends/family or to meet new people. A blog is a feature of the service. I write mine to keep my friends/family updated on my activities and thoughts. I express myself better in writing. People read blogs out of curiosity about other people's lives and opinions.

In terms of finding celebrity blogs, the first place to look is their official website. Go on Google (http://google.com ) and do a search with their name. Not all celebrities have a blog though. There are blog search engines like http://www.blogsearchengine.com/ , http://blogsearch.google.com/ , and http://www.blogdigger.com/ (RSS enabled blogs).

Popular, free blogging services:

Blogger/Blogspot (http://blogger.com ), Wordpress (http://wordpress.com )and Livejournal (http://livejournal.com ).

As for Yahoo! 360:

While logged into a yahoo service (mail, answers, whatever), type 360.yahoo.com in your web browser's address field (or just type 360 in a Yahoo! toolbar). Start creating your 360 space from there. Click the BIG YELLOW "Get Started" BUTTON on the far right section of that page. Click the "Yahoo! 360 Home" link on the upper right corner of the page to enter the space. Blog is short for "web log." Basically, a blog is an online journal. You can write or post about whatever you like: updates of your life, political opinions, a great trip, favorite recipes, what music you're listening to -- anything that strikes your fancy.

Your blog can include words, photos, or both. Yahoo! 360° publishes and saves all your blog entries for easy access as time goes by. You decide how private or public to make your blog by setting your permission preferences.

Blogs are usually composed of one or more blog entries. Each entry can have its own title and always says the date and time you published it. Blogs show the last entry first, and you can scroll down to read earlier entries. So it's like a reverse diary.

You can easily add a photo to your blog entry if you want. You can also make bold text, change colors and backgrounds, format your text, or add emoticons and even web links. If you know HTML, you can make even more changes, if you want. But your blog will look great even if you don't use any of these extras.

As to the second part of your question.. I have no idea how you would go about finding Oprah Winfreys blog .. maybe do a google search and if it has a privacy setting of Public.. it can probably find it for you.

Type "Oprah Winfrey"+"blog" and you will get thousands of blogs on the subject and also, Oprah's blog.

It's like your own site where you can write about anything you want, what's going on with your life, your day, your week, you can add friends, you can exchange comments on each others page, send private msgs., design the background like you want it, post all sorts of beautiful graphics on your blog,post pictures and albums,and more.. you can decide how public/private you want it (just you, just friends or open to (be viewed by) the public.  You already have one at Yahoo! if you have Yahoo!Mail all you need to do is activate it.  Click on the red "Y" up in the left corner of your screen on the Yahoo! toolbar and go to the Yahoo! page where you can link to creating your blog. Fill in the info...make up a screen name if you don't want to use your real name.  You will learn by trial and error like most of us did, but you'll get the hang of it pretty quick.  Make friends and invite some you already have, they'll help you out too, when you hit a snag.
