  8. Gosh, the world is smaller than thought, just last May I finished a course in Women's Studies at a University in Illinois. A  female with a Ph.D. instructed the course and she was every bit a female, form language heard only in bars and such she was also a charming lady, very much a feminist. I'm a 67 year old male in the sophomore year at the university, and she has shown more of the feminine side of a human than ever was sought.

  9. The original definition of a feminist is someone who believes that women should have the same social, legal and political rights as men. I'd say the majority of people now agree with this, but there have been three waves of feminism, and each one becomes more radical. To define feminists, you really have to look at the actions they take in society rather than just the dictionary defintion. Whether or not you see a feminist as someone fighting for not-yet-achieved equality or a radical advocating female superiority is really up to you.

    Hope that helps a bit.

  10. Basic... it's a man or woman, who believes that women are equal to men and should be treated such in laws and by society.

...it gets more complicated, as how this should be done and to what extent these believes go.

  12. it's basically a woman who stands for women's rights and believes we shouldn't be mocked and treated lower than men.
