What exactly is a franklin mint?

If a person has a /franklin mint, does that mean that one day it will be worth money? What is it exactly.

It's a private company that makes souvenir "coins", medals, prints, statuettes,etc. and sells them, frequently in sets.  They try and convince people that these will have "collector value".

The value of the products made by the American company  called "The Franklin  Mint " are dependant  on how much a collector is willing to pay for an item, on re-sale.

. It is a muggs  game. Meaning that the company  pumps out  millions of a item, say a china  collectors  plate, and buyers expect  to see it rise in value over  time.  A total waste of money.

This is NOT a way to make a profit.
