I have been using file sharing, Bear share and Utorrent for years.

You should have a good anti -virus program on your computer.

But I have never downloaded a virus in all the years I have used the program. When my anti -virus has blocked a virus, it is never from movie downloads or music, but usually something like applications and software. Don't ask me why.

Legal? Oh, I don't know. Files that are legal are legal and files that are iilegal are iilegal and I guess the vast majority of files in file sharing are illegal.

Torrent is a peer file sharing network and it is legal if you don't pass around copywrited items such as applications, programs or music.

how safe?... How safe is it to share files with strangers?
