I've never heard of that. What is it? Why is it called a round the clock shower?

  1. good question. thanks for asking it. i wish i had known that b4 i got married. sounds like fun!

  2. Each person is assigned a time period.  The goal is to find a present that is appropriate for that time period. For instance, if you were assigned 12-1 p.m., you might consider lunch dishes or linens or something associated with that time period. If you had 5-6 a.m., maybe an alarm clock.

Don't feel absolutely compelled by it though. I make everybody an afghan or quilt, so I could justify it for any time.

  3. the time that is written on your invitation is the type of gift you are supposed to get the bride. for example, say the time you got is 8am. you could get the bride an omelet maker or coffee maker, or something she can use at 8am. each guest will get a different time on the invitation. the object of the theme is to get the bride a variety of gifts that will be useful to her....

    hope that helps. :)
