I need an exact definition. I'm writing a book report, so i need help! Examples would be nice, especially from books i have read, so i understand what you are saying:

To kill a mockingbird, Call of the Wild, Night, Girl with the pearl Earing, etc...

  1. i haven't read any of those books, but a turning point is something that happens that changes the main character, this change is irreversible and will ultimately change the plot of the book after this turning point. It can be something simple, or a horrify event, in one of the books i read, the turning point was when the man's ex-lover had a miscarriage, and it made him turn from a grouch, into a man always willingly to help. The event does not have to relate exactly to the main character, but it influences them
