  1. I own and Ibanez GIO

they are great guitars  made strong and with good sound

they are worth about $300 new from the average local music store

  2. In a way, it's like a Squier Strat.  It's a cheapie version of an Ibanez.  If you already play guitar, you'll probably think this feels a little cheap and unrefined.  If it's your first guitar, you should consider getting this one.  While this is probably one of the better guitars in this price range, you can't really get a decent guitar for $150.  If you like it, get it.

  3. ive had my ibanez gio for 6 monthes, it's a really good guitar very durible, I only had one problem with it,one wire  after 6 monthes of playing broke so the front pick up stoped working, but im going to get it fixed tomarrow. anyway iv'e played a squire strat, bad quialty . also this ibanez is more hard rock and metal although can be easly adjusted for any of your needs, the squire is good for classic and acid rock, it is hard to palm mute on , or im just ust to my guitar. the humbuckers are great, great guitar. but back to your mane question it is completly different than a squire strat. I say go for it!

  4. well i dont know try going to ur local guitar center to try one out for urself. that way u will know if u like it, and if that website would give u a better deal

  5. A Guitar...Yeh It's not quite like a Squier Stratocaster, more stylish, different tones and nicer looking Head or Woodstock.

I have had one for 4 years nearly and It is not what I expected, I wouldn't recommend one.

They have a floating bridge which will basically knock your guitar out of tune a lot, and limits you to only using 9-Gauge strings, the 10-Gauge and above pull the bridge out and put it out of tune even worse. My Input Jack is also temperamental that it only works with Certain Guitar Leads. Other than that it's fine but I would recommend Dean ML's :D Razorbacks or Flying V's - Very Good. You need to obviously look around for decent Guitars and what you might want them for. Playing amazing Solos :D or Strumming...
