The autosomal DNA test covers those parts of your ancestry which the mtDNA and the Y tests cannot reach. In this test they scan 16 of your chromosomes at highly informative DNA locations and provide you with your DNA fingerprint, just like in forensic and paternity analysis. They then compare your DNA fingerprint with our global database of over 100,000 chromosomes, and calculate which areas of the world contributed to your ancestry.

It looks like it will cost around $250.
