Every time I try and lose weight in my tummy, I lose too much weight everywhere and not much from where I want it.

I'm 120-25 lbs (I'm 5"7) and I can't get rid of the unwanted chub from my tummy.

Is it because it's baby fat?? I don't get it.

  1. is that you have the body shape of a apple, theres is two one is the pear and the other the apple, your the unlike girl becaue body fat will always go in your tummy but no arms or breast unless you get really really fat, try working out running, and enjoing it is important, then try taking proteins as this will increase muscle and lose body fat, in girls taking proteins goes in your b***s that will make them bigger

  2. Just do crunches, instead of trying to lose weight.

    You're perfect for your height.

People don't have baby fat(the pudge you ave in your baby-teens years that you lose when you get taller) after like, 15.

    So...yeah. Just tone.

  3. Some people are just built differently. Keep working at it, don't lose hope - you'll get there in the end, if you don't quit. Because quitters don't get any further than they were when they quit. It's like trying to ski up a small hill. You can do it if you keep pushing yourself forward, but as soon as you quit, you will start sliding backwards.....

I think most people give up when they don't see the improvement they were looking for - but instead of giving up, keep at it. Increase your resolve, to keep working it off. Focus. You'll get there.

How old are you? Baby fat in a child is just fat stores from when they were a baby that hasnt been worked off yet. Normally, this is used when they have a growth spurt, they shoot up taller, and the fat evens out.

  4. haha usually ppl say u have baby fat if ur just a tad chubby and for whatever reason they think it looks like a baby's fat i dont get it either haha

  5. Baby Fat is just a Cute and Affectionate way of referring to the pudgy areas of the body.

It is understandable that you are concerned with losing weight all over your body instead of the area that troubles you.

The fact is fat comes off your body in sheets (which means all over) and your genetic make up determines how much and where.  You can not target weight loss on your body.

Cardio is good when it comes to burning fat but while you are trying to lose "the babyfat stomach" the fat could very well be coming off your legs and back.

What you can do is exercise your core (your middle) with stomach exercises and weights this will make your stomach muscle stronger in pull in that pudgy middle. You can then exercise your legs increasing the muscle in them and this will in turn make your pudge look smaller until you have reduced the fat percentage in your body and your genetics start reducing the fat from the middle.

If you are under 20 your body could reduce this area on its own but if you are older monitoring your caloric intake and activity level will become more vital to your success.

    Good Luck

  6. It's when you're younger like a tween or a teen and you're a little bit chubby. They call it baby fat cause eventually when you grow older you'll lose it.

  7. the fat that isnt there because your a cubby bunny but the fat that you will instead grow out of
