What exactly is contained within the EU Referendum?

What exactly is it that EU countries are voting on that is within the referendum? Nowhere really says anything about what it is.

It's almost entirely devoted to streamlining the EU.  Most of the NO Vote has been devoted to hysteria and meaningless ranting.  It's a complicated piece of work, but there's not anything sinister hidden in it.

I'm not sure either - but when you do get a copy, best to start with the small print.

We only got into the EEC because we were told,apparently, (bit before my time)"Do you want cheap oranges or starve to death?" or something like that.

And then the required 30% of the population voted yes, which was enough to get us in.

We were quite OK in the old EFTA (european free trade association) which was run by half a dozen people from an office in Sweden or somewhere like that. But that's progress for you!!
