  1. I did depression for many years. And once I stopped doing it, I NEVER wanted to do it again, so I decided to do a PhD in depression.

The main thing I found is this:

Life requires that you live fully and be more free every single day of your life. You have to GROW, because you can't just die with all your gifts still inside and not having been GIVEN to the world, which desperately needs them.

When, for whatever reason, people decide not to 'listen to life anymore' and live fully, and just do nothing - sit on their backsides making buttprints in the sands of time - thats called 'doing depression'.

Remember Tom Cruise taking about Brooke Shields DOING depression and he got so much flak for it from others. I agree with what he said.

Medicines and counseling have their place. Having said so, I was at the last stage of depression (suicidal and self harm), and I stopped without any helps from medicines or counseling.

In all honesty, the one thing I did have as 'support' was Get The Edge audio CDs by Tony Robbins. He literally saved my life!

Hope it helps you! Me sharing my story.

  2. This can be classified as depression caused by an external source. Anxiety is depression.  It happend to me when I was involved in a court case.  I spoke to my doctor who put me on PAXIL for 6 months.  I'm not on anything anymore, but it got me through the hard times when I needed it.

  3. people get mad blue with depression

  4. It sound like you are experiencing what is called "situational depression" which is a normal reaction to a traumatic event. It would probably help you a lot to talk with someone about how you feel. Studies indicate that learning to deal with what is happening to you  at the time may help prevent a clinical depression from setting in in the future. It's all about feeling what you are feeling, and learning how to cope, and accepting life as it comes. It is always OK to ask for help.

  5. it can be the start of feeling depression there are different stages, i suggest go to your doctor and they will evalkuate your moods to see if you are depressed and wether you should go on medication, depression other wise is a state of feeling lonely, confused, angry, annoyed, blue, you stop doing the things you like even the simple things like to shower every day or these things are hassles,
