What exactly is ending net receivables & how it implies in consumer based loans?

  1. For a specific loan company, one that is still lending money to it's existing customers (eg. some sort of 'draw down' system) some loans will be in default, so I guess it's theoretically possible for 'net' to be 0 ?????

    For example, a Credit Card company has to pay the sellers 'immediately' but has to wait for the card holder to make payment to them ... if the majority of card holders paid off ONLY the minimum payment, but continued to spend on the card at a rate faster than the minimum payment, then "net receivables" (from specific card holders) could even go negative ..
