  1. Upper middle class is only use to reference someones earnings. $75,000 to 249,999 a year is upper middle class anything over is considered Upper class any thing under is middle class to lower class.

  2. They are those people in your neighborhood who have the best houses and they have jobs like normal doctors in a clinic (not carnologest or nurologest) or simple lawyers. can take a vacation every summer without worrying about the bill as far as children go they go to public schools because there really isn't a diffence between privite and public because its the same education (privite is more secure and stricter)

  3. I usually find it to be rich people, who don't want to appear s****.. They know someone or know of someone richer than themselves and use this to justify not calling themselves rich or upperclass so they use the term upper-middle class. Barack Obama has a genuine discussion of this scenario with his daughter in The Audacity of Hope.

  4. Highly materialistic people

  5. They are the ******* that live in the newer but not quite ritzy neighborhoods...they have suvs, drink starbucks every day and their parents get them internships at their offices so that they don't have to mix with the lowly peasants who get to work minimum wage at a movie theater cleaning up after all of their social peers in head to toe polyester.

  6. It's basically people who are actually middle class, but want so badly to be upper class that they try to act as if they are better than ordinary middle class people. To be really upper class you really have to inherit money.

  7. Upper middle class people are professionals, usually with some graduate education. Typical jobs include doctor, lawyer, architect, engineer, college professor, accountant or management.  They generally live in suburbs with good school districts, while the younger ones may live closer to downtown.  You won't really find them in the boondocks or ghettos.  They like to take vacations to other countries, because they consider global awareness to be very important.  They place a very high value on education, so they send their children to either highly ranked public schools or private schools, in hopes that they get into Ivy League or similarly ranked colleges.

  8. usual working class with good jobs, such as banking, finance

someone who still needs to work nine to fife
