What exactly is meant by metallic taste?

i am not getting this so called metallic taste but instead i would describe it as tasteless taste! iam getting it now and then ,plus 15 days of missed period plus cramps.but i got a preg. home test done on the 7th day but it was negative.could i be pregn.and when next should i go for the home pregn.test again.could u also exactly describe cramps.

Simple.. Its absolute Iron taste but not real iron.. according to my knowledge...

If you want to know what a metallic taste is taste a watch or hearing aid battery it will give you a zing and a metallic taste. For the rest sorry.
