What exactly is the difference between personality and attitude?

Today I got asked what kind of people I get attached to. And when I thought about it the answer was something like this:

A person's attitude in general and personally towards me can impress me. Then I can get over any flaw in their personality they might have.

Does that make sense? What exactly is attitude and why is it so appealing sometimes?

personality generalizes how we are as whole..kind,giving,sensitive,s**y,contro... etc.....attitude  is how we represent those attributes...like are we kind with good spirit or for self gratification...do we have attitude with spunk or attitude with anger etc

Attitude is the way we show  our personality.

You may have a good attitude toward people or a bad one.

It is how we are judged,in many ways.

For example,  A skinhead covered in tattoos and piercings ,is often judged on appearance alone.

But once given the chance is probably one of the nicest people you would wish to meet.  However if his/her attitude comes across as look at me like that and I'll punch your lights out. Then he/she has serious

attitude problems.
