  1. hi, your luteal phase is the days after ovulation until your period normally starts, from my understanding a normal luteal phase is 10-14 days so I think you are right on target.... I am new to charting too, I have been using www.fertilityfriend.com  and it has been an awesome help, it also has a whole charting ebook, etc to explain any questions you might have, you may want to check it out....

Feel free to email me as I'm in training also haha.... good luck to you guys!

  2. Luteal phase is the time between your ovulation and your next period due.  14 days is the typical luteal phase so yours is just perfect.  Too short of a luteal pahse could mean the lining in your uterus isnt thick enough and more than 14 days could mean its too thick.. So, you're in good shape with a 14 day luteal phase.
