  1. Transcultural nursing is something that virtually all nurses do at some point. It's just providing nursing care to people from another culture and being sensitive to the needs of people from that culture.

    Some jobs utilize transcultural nursing skills more than others, such as a Public Health Nurse working with an immigrant population doing early childhood health screens or at immunization clinics, for example. You can earn a master's degree in this area and work in an administrative capacity organizing these kinds of strategic efforts at providing nursing care to other cultures, or become a college professor and teach a course on transcultural nursing for RN students.
