What exactly is vegan bento? and what is a bento box?

A bento box is a japanese style tray with 7 or 8 compartments that each contain a different food.   Common items are:

Salad, dumplings, california rolls (or another roll), tempura, some form of Teriyaki...etc.     A vegan version would contain the same items just making sure that each item was vegan.

As the other person already pointed out, it is a box with several compartments within it to hold different foods.

If it is a vegan bento box - then it would be a box that has its compartments filled only with things that are plant based and nothing to do with animal products.

Sushi type food that has no animals is the best way to describe it is what is going to be found in the box - everything from spring roll - to bits of ginger - to wasabi - well - you get the idea.
