  1. In my opinion this is anything from 1920 onward to 1960.  Personally I do not think that in selling on websites you should use the word vintage for anything later than the sixties decade.  It can of course be used in conversation to mean an ageing interesting garment, but when selling, sticking to a realistic date to mean vintage is important and shows you really understand the concept

  2. Old style clothes.  You can go to Vintage shops to buy them.

  3. Just because its old does not make it vintage.  Vintage style is like jeans that don't look sparkling new, they look like they've been worn in.  Jackets that look like they're 30 years old.

  4. These are classical/unique clothes created to imitate inspirational eras (if your lucky enough you can get your hands on the original items yourself try ebay for example). Popular fashion trends in the past have been based on the hippy years, victorian times, glam rock etc.

  5. Vintage clothing is clothing that is inspired by the old days.

A lot of girls are wearing clothes from the '40s.

    That's vintage.

  6. Anything old can be considered "Vintage".

It's a much nicer term than second hand!

  7. Vintage is like wearing clothes inspired from the old days ;)
