What exactly is vpak from verizon?

Question

im looking to get my first phone and i need it for talking/messaging/ email and ect.

and ive been looking at the voyager and i think thats what im gonna get.

ive been seeing stuff about vpak and im not 100% sure what its is.

does that include all data? im looking to have unlimited internet, texting, and voice minutes

what does vpak include out of that and how much does that cost?

how much would i pay for the extra stuff that i would need that vpak does not include?

please give me dumbed down answers, im new to cells
