  1. You should be a little more assertive. Ask the manager WHEN not IF. And just be confident and professional and you should be fine!

I'd say something more like "Hello I'm suchandsuch. I submitted an application for employment with your company about 2 weeks ago and I'm calling to see when we could set up an interview."

    Good luck!

  2. Rainbow Amnndro said it pretty good..

    Thats what I would do.

    Keep calling them.

  3. I would suggest going in and talk to the manager in charge and ask if they are doing any hiring. If they are,Give them your interest and your availability. Usually with fast food,They hire people on the spot.

With the economy today,it is difficult to find employment. Just keep your head high and apply everywhere else. You can not focus on one particular employer or you will not get anywhere.

    Good luck!!
