What exactly was the controversy surrounding Buddy Franklin?

It was alleged that he made sexual remarks and spilt drinks over these two girls. But the Hawthorn Footy Club are denying it.

He queried whether he could indulge in a sexual practice with some fit looking birds. the young women took offence at the way it was asked and complained to the media.

somewhere along the way, it appears his beverage ended up outside his glass and in the vacinity of the women in question.

I think the whole controversy is completely pathetic.

I'm sure the women could of been able to build a frigen bridge, get over it and forget it.

But 2 useless women wanting media attention and a massive fuss over nothing.  Has to be the most boring subject in the AFL.

Its all blown out of proportion. Plenty of people go around targeting AFL players because they think its hilarious and then cry when it turns sour.

I don't think it has been clear-cut what happened... but what has been revealed at that he said some things to some women that were 'unacceptable' and he might have thrown something I'm not too sure...

Buddy was at a nightclub when a girl came up to him and asked him if he could have a photo to which Buddy kindly accepted. But the controversy started when buddy asked "Can I f*** you" (Im not trying to be rude please do not report me im only trying to be helpful)

Yes, as others have said, he threw drink over people & undecently propositioned a girl in a Melbourne nightclub..

Par for course with Hawthorn players of late. They have taken over from the Eagles as the druggie club of the AFL. He was probably on something, again!
