What exactly will Russia do about Poland's missile shield?

Question

Russia keeps saying it will retaliate, but how? I don't think they would realistically expect to win a war with the U.S., and the U.S. does not want a war right now. So, I would say they have very few options. What do you think?

They will continue whining. They would not directly attack Poland, it is absolutely impossible, however they can place their own missiles somewhere around. For defense off course.

With regard to all those posters who talk of Russian Antinuke systems:

THEY DONT EXIST

the only system the russians experimented with is over 40 yrs old, and used nuclear tipped rockets

i doubt that the russians can do anything

with their military in its current state, they couldnt win a conventional war, and nobody can win a nuclear conflict

they are just blustering

I don't think, realistically, either country would win a war against each other. I don't think, realistically, either country will start a direct war with one another.

What will Russia do? You know of that country close to Florida that we are unfriendly with? Cuba? Yeah. They are quite ripe for having missile shields... After all, since U.S. wants to defend Europe from Iran, Russia can also play the I-think-you're-stupid game and place missiles in Cuba to defend the U.S.

First of all you have to ask yourself: Why is missile shield organised in Poland?

USA officials tell us about Iran missiles, which can reach Europe. But see at the Globe. Where Iran and where Poland are? It is clear for every thinking man that such allocation of missile shield is unusable to protect Europe. And Russians know it too. So Russia decides to defence.

By which way? They announced already about putting missiles in Belarus, Kaliningrad region and at ships of Baltic Fleet. It is not adequate answer but they will try to do its best.

They threatened to enter poland militarily today and they may just be crazy enough to knowing that we are committed in Iraq and Afghanistan although redeployment a little north could be done in months.
