What exactly would you "Call" this person?

I was kinda doing a rough idea of what I want to do when I am older, but I'm not exactly sure what I would call myself. Could someone help me with the followings:

What would you call my job if I wanted to be someone who designs swimming pools (You know, the looks)?

What would you call my job if I wanted to be someone who designs hoe an airport looks on the inside and outside of the building?

And lastly, what would you call my job if I wanted to be someone who spend their day trying to discover cures for the common virus and cold?

well the first two examples you gave would be an architect of some kind and the last example would be (just taking a guess) a research scientist.

I think that would be kind of cool to design swimming pools to make them huge with different themes!  Goan help the world and try to prevent colds!

The first two things on your list are done by architects. The Last thing is done by a researcher.

the first two would be an interior designer, but you wouldnt just get these jobs.

First one is probably a landscape designer or pool designer.

Second one is an architect.

Third is a research scientist.

I'm not sure about the first one... it could be a type of architect maybe.

The second one is definitely an architect.

I don't know what you would call the third one, but you would probably work for a drug company and have to have a doctorate degree in biochemistry or something similar.
