What excursions can I do in the Costa Brava, where is interesting?

Girona. Beautiful city with an exquisite medieval center. You're also not terribly far from Cadaqués, a beautiful seaside town that was once a grand center for the impressionists. Figueres, Dalí's home and museum there. Also, you aren´t very far from the wine country or Cataluña, and where cava (Spanish Champagne) is made, so going to one of the wineries might be fun. You're actually not that far from the French border, so, if you want to cross the border just to have coffee to say you´ve done that, that´s ... ok, kind of an American thing, if you´re not yankee, probably not such a big deal...
