I am 5'8, 140 lbs and I am pretty skinny. It may not seem like it, but I am kind of small for my height. I need some tips on how to get a six pack and ripped quickly. I have been doing 250 pushups and 500 crunches a day, and I do curls with 20 lbs dumbells about 100 reps a day. Is this enough to put on more muscle on my arms an on my abs? I have noticed that I have gotten stronger, but I am just wondering if there are any exercises to get my arms and my abs more toned. Please help. Thanks.

  1. Get an AB lounge!  They are awesome!  I got one and 4 months later i had lost most belly fat and gotten a nice six pack.  For weights just do what your doing.  It'll build up

  2. It doesn't matter how much work you do on your abs, you will only see the definition if you do cardio and lose body fat!

  3. compound lifts.  like benching, dead lift, squats.. they'll give you more muscle and the more muscle you have the more calories you burn = less fat.  I am a genius<3.

  4. Swap the 20lb dumbells for 40lb dumbells, increase your protein intake, start doing situps, continue with your crunches/pushups and start some cardio. Increasing your protein intake will ensure you maintain your weight (assuming you weight lift/work out to the extent you posted above.) The cardio work out will help you lose body fat and the sit ups will begin to tone the abdominal muscles. If you want to get alot bigger/stronger, the majority of the effort comes in your diet, start eating foods rich in protein; tuna/chicken are great sources and stay well hydrated. Lifting weights without consuming protein will do nothing for you, if anything it will make you look smaller.
