What exercises can i perform while swimming to lose weight???

I am going swimming and i need some advice on some exercises that i can perform while swimming in order to lose weight. Can you describe them to me as well. And how many times shall i do them to lose a good amout of weight?

  3. Just Swimming laps alone will help, it tones every muscles n even helps strengthen the lungs. So u dnt hve to do any water aerobics if thats the kind of water excersise u meant.

  4. Mix it up a little so you don't get bored. Swimming is the best all around workout, but also get a kick board and pull bouy and do some laps of just kicking and pulling.

    You could time yourself for certain distances and compete with yourself to improve your times.

    I've seen water areobics do wonders for older/overwieght folks, but haven't really found it to be a great workout if you're in decent shape although you could add a few laps of "water walking" to keep it interesting.

    You would see the best results focusing more on the lap swimming/drills. Start slow so you don't get discouraged. If you're a beginner, see what you can do in 20-30 minutes (with rest in between laps) and work your way up from there as you feel more comfortable.

    Good luck and have fun! (That's probably the most important part. If you're not enjoying it you're not likely to keep it up).

  5. JUST DO RUNNING IN A POOL LIKE WE RUN ON A GROUND I SAW THAT IN THE PRACTICE OF AUSTRALIAN CRICKET TEAM BUT YOUR HALF BODY SHOULD BE OUT FROM THE POOL WHICH WILL ALLOW YOU TO RUN
