i work out 5 times a week, though the majority of this is weight training, i'm 14.5 stone and although my body is in great shape i feel i have lost my speed that i used to have.
i used to run 100 metres in 11.02 seconds which was a record for my area when i was a teenager. now i feel i need to lose a bit of weight and concentrate on regaining my speed as i am going to start playing soccer again soon.
i know how to lose weight and train, there is no problem there, but can anyone tell me some exercises that sprinters do, or just exercises that if i do regularly i will improve my speed?
