i am a ballerina i do slow plies, tandues, plie on pointe shoes, and break theme by bending theme in the right spot.

  1. echappes are great exercises to do on pointe.

    also try this:(starting in first position) plie, press to releve while in plie, stretch your legs straight, and then put your heels down. then reverse (releve on pointe...plie <stay on your toes>, press heels down in first, then straighten legs)

    are you trying to get used to dancing in your shoes, or trying to break in your shoes?

    try not to break the shank of your pointe shoes by bending them....instead massage the box.
