  1. try doing a lot of sprinting and running exercises.  If you do a lot of running backwards, sideways, and forwards, you  will do better in a game.

  2. just play lots of tennis?

  3. Get a Wii they have a tennis game and it improves your skills.and its fun plus you can do it whenever you want. Combine it with some exercise and you will notice a difference.

My husband has improved his game no end!

Hope this helps and have  good weekend ;-)

  4. Build up your stamina and speed this will enable you to move around the court quicker and for longer.

  5. Core strength training is key. Then great footwork and cardio. Pretty much sums up tennis excersize.  Lift weights for big arms, so you scare your opponents.

  6. Without actually playing?

I'd say a good aerobic workout which includes lots of foot movement and changing of directions to make you quicker on the court.

Strength training can help as well but don't overdo it. Bodybuilders rarely make quick, nimble players.

    Stretching exercises can also help.

Something else you may want to consider is Yoga. It not only helps your body, but your mindset as well.

  7. Play against people that are much better than you. It's good for experience and they can help you when you don't know how to do something.

  8. lift weights, cardio, and yoga to help improve your balance and flexibility.

  9. high knees, lunges,  kareokes.  Then do an excersise were you go to a ling and stand parallel with it.  Jump over the line so you remain parallel just on the other side.  Then you should do this repeatedly as fast as you can.  Be careful not to twist an ankle, but otherwise it is goood to work on your footwork.

  10. You could do actually more sports to improve in Tennis! Play soccer to improve your footwork. Play baseball to see how to swing a racquet(backhand not forehand because you cant do a forehand in Baseball of you'll look silly) and swim to build on all of your muscles. Do lounges squats butt kicks( do them just how they sound. Kick your butt with the back of your feet running forward) High knees (running keeping your knees almost hitting your chest) and do yoga and aerobics. Yoga is good for flexibility and aerobics is good for stamina which is very important! Hoped this helped

  11. Stretching, lunges, balancing on one foot, running
