What exersice should i do.......?

I am going to my local Gym in a few days and was wondering what machines or exersices i should do to flatten my stomacjh and slim my thighs for holiday??

  1. what I can tell you is that belly fat is the hardest to lose and yeah,you gotta do a wide variety of exercises to shrink belly fat...70% of abs are made in the kitchen,so eat healthy too


  2. Honestly, we are the worst people to ask.  We're all inconsistant and we have different answers.

    But, to lose fat, you need to do serious cardio.  That means elliptical machines and treadmills.

    Talk to a gym monitor or a personal trainer.  They will give you information and hands-on training at the machines to help you achieve your goal.

  3. ok i don't know about the gym equipment but one thing which did help with my stomach area was cycling.. it burned a lotta fat there and also burned fat on my legs quite a lot..

  4. Unfortunately there is no way to spot reduce! But there are some great ways of toning up areas and doing lots of cardio.

    I started doing core exercises a few years ago at my gym - I am a belly dancer, and need my hips to be full, but my abs toned. Core exercises have really toned up everything in my torso including my ribs and back and lower stomach area.

    Also I started running. That has helped me overall, and has toned up my thighs and calves as well - don't know if you are looking for that, but it is a great workout!

  5. talk to your gym'w pt and find your target heart rate. then get on the eliptical, bike, stepper or anything with a heart rate detector on it. try and keeo your heart rate in the target zone and you will 3x the amount than if you just guessed it. then grab some light dumbells and do lunges. also ask them what machines to use cause they are familiar with what they have:)

  6. To get rid of excess fat, you need to do cardio, so run on the treadmill or elliptical. To tone, you're going to want to use machines that target those areas specifically, but to flatten and slim, do cardio.

    And you're going to want to make a regular exercise program so you keep the weight loss consistent.
