I don't think going to a foreign nation when you are 6 is good enough

  1. Zero. And no one with a brain would have to read any more than "what experience does Obama have in...." to know the answer would be "ABSOLUTELY NONE!"

Oh, I know. The one thing Barack Obama does have experience with is breaking campaign promises, so look out.

  2. Not much, but that's why many of us are supporting him. He is willing to reach out to the countries and the people of the world. I'm sick of the same old recycled, tough talk, power politics, US military is invincible BS of a foreign policy we've had forever. Time for something new: a fresh face with some fresh ideas.... Also, Joe Biden or Jim Webb would bring a lot to the ticket. Don't forget all of Obama's other advisors on defense and national security. And what about Rumsfeld and Cheney? Look what experience got us! John would give us more of the same, sorry....

  3. None.

This may be his greatest asset.  He isn't as chicken as McCain.  He knows that the US could do more than beat up on countries that have no air force.  He knows the power of american dollars.  He knows that you give up a little when you go to the negotiating table, but that it is the only way to make a significant gain.

The terrorists responsible for 911 are belived to be headquartered in Pakistan, and Obama has said that he'll pressure Pakistan to help find them, or he'll pressure Pakistan to take our help in finding them.  He is going to get our other enemies to the table and talk, and see if he can solve this crisis.  Republicans call this naive--but that's because they believe the US should be a bully that only picks on countries they are massively superior to militarily and economically.  Obama thinks we are a world power, and shouldn't cower in the face of other world powers--while the Republican candidate tells us it is stupid not to bow to them.

At least Obama understands something--you get the other side to the table and tell them what you want from them.  You hear what they want.  If you can't come to an agreement, then you bring the guns and force a settlement.  Bringing the guns first is the reason we can't win in Iraq--we are the evil invading empire in their eyes--and we won't do any better anywhere else.  War is an extension of diplomacy--unless you want to conquer and subjugate like we were living in the days of Alexander the Great or Attilla the Hun.  Even the republicans won't do that--so why would they run the military that way, and then expect democracy to flourish in the power vacuum we created?

  4. As someone who lived in Europe for 6 years, Been to Kosovo, Iraq and Kuwait. Maybe I should run for President with all my expeiences!!! Not Osoma i mean Obama

  5. I have more experience than Obama. I visited Europe when I was sixteen, not six!

  6. Im sure he knows how to correctly curve the neck, and shape a handle, im sure he is good at glazing as well.

OH foreign policy, i thought you said Pottery.

    um the answer is none.

  7. He serves on the foreign relations commitee in the Senate. He has limited experience in foreign policy which is why it is important for him to pick a VP that has a lot of experience in foreign policy. He did have the correct judgement about the Iraq war when we first went in there though. The current administration had a lot of experienced people in foreign policy and look where it got us. I still think he could use somebody to sure up his foreign policy credentials.  Either Joe Biden or Jim Webb would be good picks, Maybe Wes Clark has an outside shot.

  8. None.  How long was he in government? 2 years or something?  People like him because he's like JFK: young, and promises change.  The twist though is that Obama's all talk.  I'd rather have him as president than McCain, though, that'd be 4 more years of Bush.

  9. Don't be ridiculous.

McCain hasn't got any either, unless you count being a prisoner in Vietnam.

Cheney has massive experience in foreign policy ... !

    To spell it out:

All you need for successful foreign policy is a good brain, common sense, information, and having the interest of your country at heart, not your own personal ones.

  10. We shall see how he deals with Iran!  Fasten your seat belts.

We are in for a very rough ride.
