  1. An area with a sofa for breastfeeding, and diaper changing facilities.

  2. I know this has nothing to do with architecture but CLEAN. I can't stand going into a dirty, smelly public restroom. I can tolerate a restroom that has fewer new amenities and is really clean better than a modern one that is dirty and gross.

  3. "For over a year now we have witnessed video due to the technology of mini fiber optics carefully placed in womens restrooms at a few shopping malls & some large companies. Based on our scrutiny, it's clear you certainly don't need to include any amenities for bathroom tissue or washing hands. It must be concluded that sadly, we've reached an age where most of them are in too much of a hurry to be clean. The bright side is it will reduce the budget for your designs !"

  4. I agree with the gal who said no doors. I watched a chick walk out of B&N yesterday upon exiting the handicapped stall. Gross!

  5. Extremely clean, a place to hang your purse and a place to put it down when washing your hands. A door that can open without having to touch it with your hands.

  6. A place to sit and breast feed infants.  Cant do such in "public" but when the kid is hungry...and your out and about.  You have two choices the restroom or back the the car.

  7. plenty of places to hang a bag, like a hook on the back of the door, and maybe some where when you wash and dry your hands, and maybe more room in the side of the cubicle, so them waste bins don't get in the way.

  8. Women's bathrooms are pretty much identical to men's with the exception of a baby change table and dispensers to purchase menstrual supplies.  It would be nice if women had more stalls since women tend to spend more time in the restroom whereas men are in and out.

  9. I personally don't like hnging out in toilets. But I'd say definitely make sure there is a GOOD air conditioning system. Music would be good for those that don't like to have people listen to them going to the loo. Generally plants, fragrances etc make it feel nicer and less like a toilet.

edit: And places around the wash basin where you can put your handbag, because the only place is on the floor or the wet sink surround

  10. Automatic doors and automatic taps.

  11. close room,,with toilet flush and tissue., with the placement for bags and accessories., ahmmm,,also try to make bath tub and toilet of course, with large mirror inside the comfort room. and also for garbage can,

    that's all...

  12. I saw an episode of "Boy Meets World" where it is revealed that they have access to couches.

  13. I'd like a way to make them less comfortable so women get  the heck in there and out. The lines are ridiculous. I like the separate bathrooms for families so the kids and parents stay the heck of out my bathroom since that is what takes time. I also don't like doing my business while listening to a child discuss their bathroom issues with their parent-it's just a lot of information I really don't wish to hear-that's why I don't have kids.

  14. Please put a hook on the inside of the door for our purse.  It is awkward to juggle a purse and balance when you need both hands available.  (Do you have any idea how hard it is to adjust panty hose, underwear, zippers, and belt buckles with one hand?  No one wants to put their handbag on the floor of a restroom stall!)  Also, once while at an upper class shopping center I was most impressed with a scrolled metal shelf with a tiny ledge above the toilet to place your packages on so both hands were free. Also a full length mirror as you walk out the door is a nice bonus to check everything before you go back out in public.

  15. No door to go in. Set it up so you can't see in but I don't like to touch the door handle. So many people do not wash their hands and it defeats the purpose if I wash mine but the person in front of me doesn't and touches the door handle. Make sure all the handles are automatic,  no dryer or faucet handles.

  16. toilet paper- and clean toilet seats in fact clean facillities.

  17. an automatic toliet seat cleaner or something like that...
