It depends on the extent of your discomfort. For mild cases, simply a single-use vial of refresh lubricating 10 minutes before or immediately after.

If, on the other hand, you have moderate to severe dryness, especially while wearing contacts, I wholeheartedly suggest asking for a prescription for freshkote. It can make a huge difference in making wearing contacts with dry eye not only possible, but more comfortable.

I would recommend using Opti free lens cleaner. You can also use them as eyedrops.

I'm a big fan of GenTeal drops - they're supposedly essentially your tears in a bottle lol.  They work wonders for me, and I'm allergic to all sorts of things and have to wear my contacts for long hours at a time during the day - never had a problem with them, and definitely get some relief!
